Polarised Sunglasses

Polarised (or Polarized if you happen to speak American!) lenses filter out the horizontal light rays from sunlight, including those reflected off horizontal surfaces such as water and wet roads.   Anglers, sea fishermen, and yachting and boating enthusiasts all love polarised sunglasses , as they cut out the reflected glare from sunlight on water.  This property also makes them ideal driving sunglasses as well as for everyday use.
